Installer 2026 Gold Cobra® giveaway - terms of participation and data protection policy.

On entering your details on the following landing page https://www.installershow.com/win-gold-plated-knipex-cobra-250 and clicking “enter” you agree to the terms of participation and data protection policy stated hereafter.

 The organiser is KNIPEX Werk C. Gustav Putsch KG, Oberkamper Straße 13, 42349 Wuppertal & KNIPEX Tools UK Ltd, Oakley House, 3 Saxon Way West, Corby, NN18 9EZ (hereinafter referred to as KNIPEX).

 

Giveaway Terms & Conditions

Participation in this giveaway is only permitted to UK residents aged 16 and over and of unrestricted legal capacity. This giveaway is dependent on participation in the InstallerSHOW 2026 Gold Cobra® giveaway during the campaign dates, 27th April 2026 to 21st June 2026 11:59pm. Each participant may only enter once and must do so under their own name. By entering, the participant agrees to enter the giveaway and sign up for KNIPEXnews. This giveaway is open to both old and new newsletter subscribers, but participants must be signed up and have double-opted in for KNIPEXnews in order to be entered. KNIPEX will contact the participants within 7 days of entering the giveaway to request email verification.  Email must be verified to gain entry to the giveaway. By entering the giveaway, the participant agrees to collect the prize from the KNIPEX stand at InstallerSHOW between 23rd and 25th June 2026.

The winner will be chosen on the 23rd June 2026 and will be notified by email. The prize is one gold-plated 87 01 250 KNIPEX Cobra® Plier, with InstallerSHOW 2026 engraved on the handle. The gold-plated Cobra ® is intended for display use only, and any damage will not be covered under warranty. Only 1 prize per person is permitted. It is not possible to exchange the prize or to have it paid out in cash. The selection of the winner will take place among the participants by a random number generator. The winner will be contacted via email in order to individually agree on the modalities of the collection of the prize. If the notified winner does not respond within 12 hours, the claim to the prize is forfeited and a new draw takes place

KNIPEX-Werk C. Gustav Putsch KG collects and uses the data of the participants (name and address) only to the extent that it is legally permitted or the participants have consented to it. Employees and representatives of the KNIPEX Group as well as their relatives are excluded from participation. The organiser reserves the right to change these terms of participation at any time without notice. Any changes shall be deemed to have been notified to the participants upon publication. The organiser may also cancel or terminate the competition at any time without giving reasons. This applies in particular if proper execution is not possible for technical or legal reasons. Recourse through the courts is excluded.

Data protection

KNIPEX strictly adheres to the legal regulations regarding data protection. Data provided to KNIPEX will be treated confidentially and will not be forwarded to third parties. The general data protection statement of KNIPEX-Werk C. Gustav Putsch KG can be found here.

Liability

KNIPEX is not liable for false information created or disseminated by participants and/or third parties in connection with the competition. Any liability for damages on the part of KNIPEX and its organisation, employees and vicarious agents arising out of or in connection with the competition, regardless of the legal basis, shall be limited to cases of intent or gross negligence to the extent permitted by law.

Recourse through the courts is excluded.
