Global Skills Collaboration

The Forum creates an environment where young professionals, trainers and experts from different countries come together to exchange knowledge, share best practice and raise standards across the industry.

About WorldSkills

Recognised as the global benchmark for vocational excellence, WorldSkills sets the international standard for technical and professional skills across more than 85 countries. The organisation’s competitions and training programmes play a critical role in developing the next generation of highly skilled professionals across engineering, construction and technical trades.

Taking place across three days at InstallerSHOW, the WorldSkills Forum will bring together 15 of the world’s most talented young plumbing and heating professionals, representing countries from across the international WorldSkills network.

These competitors are preparing for the 48th WorldSkills Competition in Shanghai (22–27 September 2026), where they will compete on the global stage.

A Global Training Environment

The Forum acts as a high-level international training workshop, allowing competitors to refine their technical abilities, share knowledge and prepare for the intense demands of the upcoming WorldSkills competition.

Working alongside expert trainers and mentors, competitors will develop and test advanced skills in areas such as:

  • precision pipe installation

  • system assembly and commissioning

  • technical problem solving and diagnostics

  • installation accuracy and workflow efficiency

  • working under timed competition conditions

The training environment replicates the challenges competitors will face at the international competition, helping them develop the precision, speed and technical excellence required to compete at the highest level.
