The Heating Installer Awards was established to raise the credibility and celebrate the achievements of heating installers across the UK who deliver top quality work and excellent customer service on a daily basis. With 2026 marking the 11th anniversary of the awards, the judging process is more rigorous than ever before and the competition is higher.

Regional Awards

Celebrating the industry’s finest from every corner of the UK, and crowning one winner per region, this category recognises technical excellence, commitment to the industry, to new technologies, to understanding and adhering to the latest legislation, and to high standards nationwide.

National Award

Winners of each of the Regional Awards undertake a technical challenge, set and marked by the CIPHE and other judges. The scores from the challenge are added together with the scores from the original entry, and the public vote, and from here our National Heating Installer Awards Winner is crowned.

HVAC Award

Introduced in 2024, this award can be entered by installers who have delivered a system to customers that not only heats homes, but also cools to improve air quality and ventilation.

Renewables Award

Is your work all about installing the most suitable renewables technology for the project at hand? This award recognizes those who understand, recommend and install renewables systems which reduce both environmental impact and energy bills.

Rising Star

For apprentices who aren’t afraid of hard graft, the Rising Star category celebrates those who may still be in training but are putting in that extra effort to achieve high standards. Winners describe how they balance the classroom with on-the-job training, and how they work with their employer to make suggestions and learn.
