ENSURING COMPLIANT INNOVATION: TESTING, INSPECTION AND CERTIFICATION SERVICES ON SHOW FROM KIWA AT INSTALLERSHOW
The full range of independent, testing, inspection and certification services on offer from Kiwa Watertec will be showcased on stand 4D12 at InstallerSHOW, taking place at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham from 23–25 June 2026.
Kiwa’s testing, inspection and certification services cover an extensive range of sanitary and plumbing products, with complete turnkey support available to manufacturers seeking product accreditation to recognised industry standards.
Kiwa’s offering is set apart by its speed, with compliance and certification often achievable in shorter timescales than other traditional routes, allowing faster entry to market with solutions that have been independently proven to be fully compliant and so provide assurance for all stakeholders of their safety and quality. For installers, this means they can access new, innovative but compliant sanitary and plumbing products by seeking out options tested and certified by Kiwa. While, for ultimate speed to market, Kiwa is encouraging visitors to ask about the Fast-Track service during the show.
Standards covered include Water Regulation 4 Testing and Certification (KUKreg4); BS 6920 Drinking Water Materials Testing and Certification (KUKmat4 or DWI Reg31); Thermostatic Mixing Valve Testing and certification TMV type 2 and type; Unvented Water Heater Testing and Certification (KUKG3); and Water Products Evaluation and Pre-Compliance Testing.
The event will also see Kiwa sponsor the 14th World Plumbing Conference, which will run alongside InstallerSHOW. Jonathan Price, Business Development Manager at Kiwa Watertec will also be part of an expert panel on Infrastructure for Trust & Resilience, at 12.15pm on Wednesday 24 June.
This session will explore the physical and digital infrastructure required to protect water systems - from treatment and distribution to monitoring, emergency response and long-term planning. As urban populations grow and environmental risks escalate, the panel will examine how smart technologies, robust engineering, and cross-sector collaboration can strengthen water security and rebuild public confidence.
David Jay, Business Unit Manager, Kiwa Watertec, commented: “Not only will be sharing our testing, inspection and certification services at InstallerSHOW, but we look forward to chatting with visitors about some of the common misunderstandings that exist in the industry. In particular, around Water Regulation 4, and how a clearer view of it and what it means can help unlock opportunities for manufacturers looking to bring innovative but compliant products to market, and installers who seek out the newest products and technologies.
“It’s also great to be part of the World Plumbing Conference where attendees will share the latest thinking and best practice in areas from skills development and water conservation to sustainability, and public safety.
“We invite all visitors to come along to the event and speak to our experts about our full range of UKAS-accredited testing, inspection and certification for sanitary and plumbing products.”
