Since leaving School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London with a Geography degree, Tim's early career took him to Denmark as a Dynamite Handler, Europe as a Balloonist and Japan as an English Teacher, before settling down into marketing with a number of sales promotion and direct marketing agencies based in London. After taking a break as a Park Ranger in the US (where he cut his teeth saving water), he joined Virgin Atlantic Airways as a Business Manager before the attraction of starting his own business led him to set up Save Water Save Money, in 2007. Today, the company helps consumers in the UK, Australia and the US ' and soon throughout Europe, Africa and India ' understand their water use via a digital platform, and provides a series of actions for them to use less water, including certified water saving product recommendations on the newly-launched GetWaterSmart product directory.
