Simon leads Cundall’s Net Zero Carbon and Sustainable Governance teams, bringing extensive expertise in environmental strategy and carbon reduction policy. A recognised authority on net zero and whole life carbon, he has helped shape UK and international policy and guidance for the built environment. Simon contributes to several influential industry bodies, including UKGBC, BCO, WLCN and the Green Property Alliance, and chairs the CIBSE Knowledge Generation Panel. He has played a key role in developing net zero and whole life carbon methodologies for the GLA and Hong Kong’s Construction Industry Council. A frequent speaker and published author, Simon advises governments, property owners and leading organisations on low‑carbon construction and sustainable development.
