Saziye Azlik Dickson is the Sales Manager for Friga-Bohn, overseeing the UK, Ireland, and Nordics region. In this role, she is responsible for crafting and implementing business strategies, as well as supporting wholesalers and their technical teams in the sales of refrigeration products. Saziye brings over 17 years of experience in the HVAC-R sector to her position. Before joining Friga-Bohn, Saziye spent 16 years at BSRIA, where she most recently served as the Global Research Manager for air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration. During her tenure, she led significant studies, including the first Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) study and the inaugural Africa AC market study, which later facilitated further research funding by UNEP and IGSD looked at efficiency of AC equipment and mapped dumping activities in the continent. She is the author of approximately 40 market reports and has collaborated with major HVAC-R multinationals, investment banks, and NGOs. A recognized thought leader, Saziye is a regular speaker at international HVAC-R events, including AHR Expo in the US, ISK-Sodex in Istanbul, ISH in Germany, and the BIG 5 in Dubai. Saziye served as the first female president of the ASHRAE UK Chapter and has been an active board member since 2017, serving in various capacities. She holds an MSc in Low Energy Building Services Engineering from Loughborough University.
