Philip is a founding partner of Thermly, a director of Habitability Limited (a zero carbon development company) and the founding director of Daedalus Environmental Limited, which was set up in 2009 to deliver energy and sustainability consultancy to the built environment sector and to develop innovative projects in the low carbon and social economy. He has over 20 years of experience in the field of sustainable design and development, specialising in the construction and regeneration sectors across both the public and private sectors, in both new build development and the regeneration of existing communities. He works extensively with national scale developers, but also central government, Homes England and local authorities to identify solutions to complex environmental challenges to the built environment. His focus remains on the creation of innovative approaches to achieving and delivering value through sustainable design and technology, addressing the key issues of financial viability alongside the delivery of social benefit and improved environmental performance.
