Peter is the Chief Executive Officer for the Backflow Prevention Association of Australia Inc. (BPAA) A not-for-profit association striving to advance industry standards, foster collaboration among professionals, and ensure the integrity of water systems through development of training material, advocacy, innovation, and knowledge sharing. Part of the BPAA is the Legionella Management Advisory Group. He is considered a backflow prevention subject matter expert and has presented papers at conferences nationally and internationally on industry subjects related to protecting the water supply, backflow prevention and demand management. Most recently, Peter spent over three years with the Australian Building Codes Board working to develop the National Construction Code, Volume Three, The Plumbing Code of Australia in conjunction with the Australian States and territories. He has authored numerous articles in trade publications both nationally and internationally on water supply topics. He is Past President and Life member of the Backflow Prevention Association of Australia Inc., a member of the American Backflow Prevention Association where he sits on the Board as a Director at Large representing Australia and the BPAA, a Member of the World Plumbing Council and a Executive committee member of the Legionella Management Advisory Board.
