Ollie Salmon
Ollie Salmon is a qualified UK plumber and Gas Safe engineer working in the plumbing and heating industry in the UK. He began his career through an apprenticeship at St Paul’s Cathedral, London, where he gained valuable experience on prestigious heritage projects, including specialist lead work on the cathedral roof.
Alongside his practical training, Ollie completed his Level 2 Plumbing qualification at Croydon College and his Level 3 Gas qualification at Carshalton College, qualifying as a Gas Safe engineer.
Since qualifying, Ollie has established his own successful business, working alongside a good friend who has provided ongoing mentorship. He delivers high-quality services across both high-end residential and commercial settings.
Ollie Salmon joined the PPDS scheme in 2023 as a founder member. In March 2025 he was formally recognised by the Chartered
Institute of Plumbing and Heating Engineering and The Worshipful Company of Plumbers as a Journeyman Plumber, receiving his award from the Lord Mayor at a ceremony at the Mansion House in the City of London.
Ollie has experience across domestic and commercial plumbing, heating systems, and gas engineering, combining traditional craftsmanship gained through heritage work with modern technical capabilities. He is passionate about continuing to develop within the trade and representing the next generation of skilled plumbing and heating professionals in the UK.
