Apprentice trained and with over 35 years experience in the electrical industry, Nik has a varied background and is now a qualified and respected trainer and technical presenter, he regularly appears on the NICEIC webinar series, The Wire. Having worked on a range of contracts across the private, public, and commercial sectors and following a number of years running his own business, Nik joined a national facilities service provider and as NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor lead on technical support and training.
Moving into the education and training sector he became the Commercial Training Manager at one of the largest further education colleges in the East of England. During his 14 years there he created training courses to meet the needs of individuals, and small businesses and worked with national and international household brands to develop engineer upskilling programmes.
As a member of the IET, Nik joined Certsure in 2018 as Technical Training Manager and has brought his experience and vision into the development of technical training programs for NICEIC. Most recently, he has developed and managed the launch of the NICEIC Electrical Energy Storage Systems course whilst developing methods of making the training offer more widely accessible.
