Mark Millar is one of television’s most recognisable handymen, best known for his work on BBC One’s DIY SOS and Channel 5’s Build Your Dream Home in the Country and Dream Kitchens and Bathrooms with Mark Millar. A carpenter by trade, Mark began his journey with an apprenticeship in Northern Ireland, initially aspiring to become a chef. Alongside his television career, he runs a successful building firm in Bristol, working with clients from around the world. As The IPG’s brand ambassador, Mark is a passionate advocate for independent plumbing stores and bathroom showrooms across the UK. He chose to work with The IPG because of its strong commitment to supporting independent businesses – providing them with the tools, buying power, and community they need to compete with larger chains. Having seen first-hand the quality, expertise and personal service independents offer, Mark is proud to champion a group that puts its members at the heart of everything it does, helping them grow and succeed in a competitive market.
