Mark Bruno

CUBE

Mark Bruno is a Partner at Ampersand Partners – a net zero strategy consultancy for commercial real estate - and Chief Ambassador of the CUBE Competition. He has over 20 years’ experience in technology, property and consulting in the UK, US and Asia, much of it in entrepreneurial growth stage companies.

After working in Silicon Valley for a number of years, Mark returned to London in 2009 and started his own consulting practice specialising in strategy, operations and market positioning, largely within the property development and leisure sectors. Later, he was able to combine his interest in technology and property when, as Managing Director for Swedish proptech company Datscha, he set up and ran its UK business leading to its growth and successful acquisition by RCA in 2019. Concurrently, Mark was a founding board member of the UK Proptech Association.

Mark’s interest in sustainability stems from living off-grid for 2 years and witnessing the effects of climate change first-hand while captaining a sailing boat around the world. He is now applying that passion to his work at Ampersand/CUBE.

Mark holds a BA (Hons) in Economics and Fine Arts from Georgetown University and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

When not working, Mark loves coaching rugby (his playing days are mostly behind him) cooking and sailing.
