Margaret's HVACR career began in 2003 as a receptionist at York ACR, supporting service and sales teams before advancing to a Sales Support role. Responsibilities included assisting engineers, consultants, and designers with equipment selection, pricing, and site coordination. To better support customers, she pursued a part-time Building Services Engineering degree at DIT Bolton Street while working full-time, graduating in 2016. Transitioning to sales, Margaret specialized in chillers and bespoke air handling units. In 2021, she joined Mitsubishi Electric Ireland as a Consultant Sales Engineer and is responsible for the specification of Mitsubishi Electric Equipment. Throughout the years, she has been actively involved in industry development, joining the Institute of Refrigeration Ireland Committee in 2022 and becoming their President in 2025. She has consistently recognized the importance of professional networks like the IRI, CIBSE, WiBSE and STEMazing. Margaret is passionate about promoting the HVACR industry and inspiring and supporting the next generation.
