Kevin Howells, Managing Director of Datatag ID, has been heavily involved in forensic security marking for over 35 years. He was instrumental in the launch of the construction and agriculture industries’ Official CESAR Scheme in the UK, which is supported by many associations including the CEA, AEA, AMPS, HAE, IPAF and the CPA.
Datatag’s tool marking system allows officers to check tools at the roadside within seconds to determine provenance. Datatag works alongside all UK police forces as well as Interpol, providing expert advice and specialist training.Kevin is an active Chairman, Vice President, Board Director and member of numerous industry and specialist groups, committees and organisations including CITS, MCRG, IAATI, IAAMI, PWP and BSiA.
