Josh Collins is a CIBSE-certified Heat Networks Consultant with nearly two decades of experience in the HVAC industry. His career has spanned installation, commissioning, testing, maintenance, and technical consultancy, giving him a well-rounded expertise in Heat Interface Units (HIUs) and heat network efficiency. Having recently spent two years with a leading energy consultancy, Josh brings cutting-edge insights into optimising heat networks for performance, sustainability, and regulatory compliance. His current role at Altecnic sees him working closely with consultants, architects, and specifiers to improve heat network designs, ensuring they are both efficient and future-proof. Josh is particularly focused on HIUs for retrofit projects and the impact of new regulations such as the Heat Network Technical Assurance Scheme (HNTAS).
