Jon Vanstone is one of the UK construction sector's most recognised voices on competence and building safety. Jon chairs both the National Home Improvement Council (NHIC) and Certass, and writes and speaks regularly on competence, regulatory culture and the practical realities of building safety reform. He also works as an independent consultant and is a former member of the Building Regulations Advisory Committee (BRAC). His contribution to the building safety agenda has been formally recognised by Dame Judith Hackitt and senior industry leaders.
