Johnny is an internationally recognized pioneer of kitchen design and the author of four books, including the Art of Kitchen and Kitchen Culture. He introduced the first university kitchen design degree in the UK. Studying at the Architectural Association, he has a continuing interest in academic research and the future of kitchen living, working with Newcastle University and Professor Peter Gore to create the World's Most Intelligent Kitchen. Known also as the 4 Generational Kitchen He believes the kitchen is primarily a sociable space ' 'a living room in which you cook', constantly re-inventing itself as a response to changing needs of time and people's desire for happiness. Johnny Grey Studios creates bespoke kitchens around the world and his new Unfitted Kitchen company sells kitchen-to-go online and through dealers.
