John Hancock is COO of Wolseley Group. John is an experienced Senior Director with a demonstrated history of working in the building materials industry, having first joined Wolseley as a Trade Counter Assistant at Rugby Plumb Centre in 1989. As well as within Wolseley, John has gained sector experience in other large businesses including Saint Gobain and the BSS Group. On his return to Wolseley in 2010, John worked his way up through the company, joining the Wolseley Leadership Team in 2018. He has been Managing Director of the Wolseley Building Services and Infrastructure Divisions before becoming COO in 2023.
