Jim Buckley
Jim Buckley is a Director of Public Health Engineering with over 20 years’ experience delivering complex and innovative water and drainage solutions across the UK, Europe, and the Middle East. He specialises in high-rise drainage strategy, advanced siphonic rainwater systems, healthcare engineering, and sustainable water management, with a strong focus on creating resilient, compliant, and efficient designs.
Currently leading Public Health Engineering at CPW, Jim provides strategic technical oversight across major projects, while managing multidisciplinary teams and driving excellence in project design delivery. His portfolio spans super-prime residential developments, large-scale healthcare facilities, and nationally and internationally recognised schemes, including One Eastside and Masdar City.
A Fellow of SoPHE, Jim is an active contributor to the profession, particularly within the West Midlands, where he supports knowledge sharing and industry collaboration. Known for his practical insight and technical leadership, he brings valuable perspective to industry discussions, with a passion for advancing sustainable water strategies and raising standards across the built environment.
