Jan is passionate about making this planet a better place for us all. When he was 8 years old Jan founded an environmental group in his home town. Since then he devoted his entire career to this mission - for the last 20 years Jan has been working towards creating a clean, fair and efficient energy system as a policy advisor, consultant, researcher, and volunteer. Jan is a Principal and Director of European Programmes at the Regulatory Assistance Project (RAP), a global team of highly-skilled energy experts. He is responsible for all aspects of leadership, management, and financial viability of RAP's work in Europe. Jan has several board appointments. He sits on the board of the European Council for an Energy Efficient Economy (eceee) and is a member of the Steering Committee of the Coalition for Energy Savings. Jan is a co-founder and co-host of the "Watt Matters" podcast.
