Chartered Engineer with almost 40 years' involvement in power systems and energy efficiency, with particular expertise in solar PV/BESS for both large-scale and small-scale grid-tied and off-grid systems. Extensive knowledge of the renewable energy sector, including solar photovoltaic, solar thermal, wind, hydro, EfW, biomass (heat and electricity), heat pumps, and energy storage systems. Background in large scale power transmission and distribution, power generation in manufacturing, construction, consultative and operations to 400kV both conventional and renewable based technology. Fellow of Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) and the Energy Institute.
