Graeme Shaw

Global Head of Application , Thorn Lighting

Graeme Shaw is an experienced lighting application specialist with a demonstrated history of working in the lighting manufacturing industry.

He joined Zumtobel in 2001 as a sales engineer and in 2014 became the technical training and development manager for the UK. In 2015, he accepted the role of technical application and academy manager, Northern Europe and two years later became technical applications manager for Zumtobel Group UK. In 2019 Shaw advanced to be the technical director for Zumtobel Group UK & Ireland, responsible for the technical lighting, education, design and applications for the lighting brands. Since 2025, he has been global head of application for Thorn Lighting.

He is also a Lighting Industry Association council member, representative on sustainability, marketing and education committees, and is a Society of Light and Lighting Education committee member.
