Fergus Harradence is the Deputy Director at the Department for Business & Trade (DBT), where he leads the sponsorship of infrastructure, construction, logistics, airports, and water sectors. Since joining the Civil Service in 2000, he has held various economic policy roles, including trade policy, export promotion, innovation, and corporate tax. His current responsibilities include improving the productivity and environmental performance of the construction sector, decarbonizing buildings and construction operations, and managing the relationship with the construction sector.
