Emmanouil (Manos) Perisoglou is a Chartered Engineer (CEng) and Lecturer in Architectural Science at Cardiff University’s Welsh School of Architecture. He specialises in low-carbon buildings, renewable energy integration, and performance evaluation of building systems. He leads the Low Carbon Built Environment theme within the Net Zero Innovation Institute and serves as technical lead for the Centre for a Low Carbon Built Environment. Emmanouil has extensive experience in modelling, monitoring, and data analysis of real-world energy systems. He has led and contributed to major funded research projects, published widely, and supports under and postgraduate teaching, professional practice, and interdisciplinary collaboration in sustainable built environment research.
