Darren is an industry leading practitioner, an established member of the ECA technical team and JPEL64 representing ECA Members, influencing electrotechnical Standards, and developing best practice practices. 

Darren advises on British Standards, including BS 7671 and is a degreee-ducated engineer holding an MEng (Hons) DIS in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from Loughborough University; he is also a Member of the IET (MIET). 

With over 25 years’ experience, Darren is an experienced engineer with great passion for the electrical industry and specialises in Electrical Inspections (EICRs), Telecommunications, Datacentres including Generators and Critical Power Systems. 

Above all, Darren is known for his enthusiasm for developing people, raising industry standards, and advancing technical excellence across the electrical sector.
