Danny Roberts is an accomplished plumbing and heating engineer with more than 25 years of hands-on and technical expertise. Coming from generations of tradesmen, he began his career working for a family friend’s plumbing and heating business before going on to establish his own successful company. Alongside running his business, Danny has played an active role in industry training and assessment, a path that led him to his current position as Technical Consultant for APHC.

In his role, Danny represents APHC in shaping industry standards and supporting technical excellence across the sector. He sits on the MCS Committee and contributes to the MCS Heat Pump Development Group, as well as the Heating and Heating Controls Sub-Group and the Air-to-Air Heat Pump Assessment Criteria Sub-Committee. He is also part of a technical working group with BPEC and SNIPEF, focusing on training standards and apprenticeships.
