Dan is Market Development Director of MCS, a profit-for-purpose, standards organisation that plays a central role in the UK’s adoption of renewable energy sources for our homes and small businesses. With a current focus on skills and competence in the supply chain. His experience in growth management and strategic planning spans multiple sectors including two spells in renewables dating back to 2010. Dan’s skills and strong commercial focus are underpinned by a genuine passion for supporting peoples’ journeys to decarbonisation, low temperature heat, and the transition to Net Zero. He is a respected speaker and recognised authority on the required action at government and industry-level to increase and sustain momentum in the home-grown energy market. Dan is overseeing a number of key projects including MCS’s involvement in the Mayor of London’s Solar Skills London project and a joint project with Energy Savings Trust as part of the Heat Pump Ready programme administered by the Department of Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS).
