After years in live music production and corporate set building, Bruce grew frustrated with the waste and throwaway nature of the industry. Spotting a London Plane tree being felled near his home in Camden in 2016, he hired a mobile sawmill, had it planked and air-dried the boards - and the quality of the timber convinced him there was a business worth building.
As Managing Director, today Bruce leads the operational side of Fallen & Felled, sourcing trees, overseeing milling and seasoning, and delivering furniture and timber projects for the business.
