Andy Phillips is Managing Director of IRSAP UK Ltd, a wholly owned UK subsidiary of IRSAP, Italy’s largest designer and manufacturer of decorative radiators and towel rails. IRSAP trade in the UK as The Radiator Company and Supplies4Heat via the Merchant sector. Andy has worked for IRSAP for 15 years, and before that spent a dozen years in the bathroom industry, meaning he has worked in the wider industry sector for over 27 years.

Andy is Chair of the Manufacturers Association of Radiators and Convectors (MARC), an organisation established to provide a voice for the radiator and convector industry, focusing on the specific needs of, and issues faced by, manufacturers and distributors of radiator. In his capacity as Chair of MARC, Andy has been instrumental in leading the organisation in its partnership with the OPSS to educate the market regarding the legislation surrounding the testing and publication of outputs for radiators and towel rails in the UK.

As dull as discussing legislation might be to some, Andy is passionate regarding this subject, reminding all parties it is a law designed to protect consumers. It is the legal responsibility of all resellers of radiators and towel rails to ensure the products they sell are legislatively compliant.
