Ahmad Makkieh is an Electrical and Electronics Engineer specialised in Direct Current (DC) microgrids design and protection. He has a joint PhD from the University of Strathclyde and Imperial College London, and has published extensively on DC protection. His passion lies in smart building sustainability, where advancing technology meets eco-friendly practices.
