InstallerSHOW is further cementing its commitment to Net Zero by teaming up with Wates Group to put on a one-of-a-kind Innovation Zone at this year’s show.
Wates Group, one of the leading construction, development and property services companies in the UK, employing 3,700 people, has long been committed to the long-term sustainability of the built environment and is working to eliminate carbon from its operations by 2025.
And this year’s InstallerSHOW at the NEC, Birmingham from 21st to 23rd June, will feature content from sister brand elemental, addressing net zero solutions in heat, water, air, and energy. Decision-makers from local authorities, social housing, house builders and developers, M&E contractors and building services engineers will be able to access a wealth of insights that will help them map their paths to a zero carbon future. Wates will also contribute practical, advice-led sessions to the onsite speaker programme.
Featuring exclusive product demos, the Innovation Zone is being developed with a host of extensively vetted suppliers who can offer genuine, market-leading sustainable technology to help in the design, construction, maintenance and use of buildings. Just some of the leading innovators within the Wates Innovation Network include Solar glass, Hydrotap, Ecoprod, Beanbag, Dyson, Altecnic, Elysator, Mixergy. Dr. Zainab Dangana, Head of Sustainable Technology for Wates Group, commented:
“The Wates Innovation Network was originally launched in response to the fact that most market ready, sustainable technologies never get considered because key decision makers are not aware of these products and suppliers don’t have easy access to these corporate decision makers. At Wates we have been successfully bridging this gap, and now we’re taking this up another level by going live at InstallerSHOW with a zone that will showcase products that enable reduced carbon emissions, operating costs and increased energy savings.
We’re grateful to InstallerSHOW for providing this platform for the network and we look forward to a successful event.”
Mike Costain, Managing Director of Lyrical Communications, added:
“This is a landmark moment. Never before have we teamed up with so many of the industry’s heavyweights leading the charge on making Net Zero a reality. The wealth of innovation on the show floor, importantly backed with practical “do-it-now” guidance is unparalleled.
Visitors can walk away from the show with a clear and practical roadmap they can instil within their organisation within days.”
