This year, eBay will be sponsoring the VIP Lounge at InstallerSHOW. The company will be there to give advice and support on how to set up and sell on eBay as a business – offering a huge market for trade and DIY products across all categories.
As well as this, eBay will be focusing on offering exit strategies for what’s known as ‘dead’ stock. This can be anything from end of line/clearance/old packaging/damaged packing/damaged product/missing parts/refurbished goods, and even broken stock for parts. There’s no need to sell this stock directly, third party solutions are available to take it away, list it, and sell it. This can free up warehouse space quickly and also returns a reasonable yield for that stock. It also helps with carbon credentials and avoids sending stock to landfill. eBay is already working with key tool brands on this initiative.
If you would like to hear more, email Rosalind Bridges to set up a meeting in the lounge or drop by during the show.
