Simon Acres Group announces its InstallerSHOW speaker line-up

Specialist KBB, merchant and construction recruitment agency and online training provider, Simon Acres Group Limited, is partnering with the InstallerSHOW to share its expertise on hiring industry apprentices.

Throughout the three-day exhibition, Simon Acres Group will be hosting a selection of guest speakers on its stand (4B22) to provide guidance to visitors on various topics related to apprenticeships. The line-up includes:

  • Alan Wallace, Apprenticeship Ambassador Network (AAN)
  • Alex Ainge, Cyncly
  • Andy Gamble, Merchant Consultant and former Managing Director at RGB Building Supplies
  • Barry Moss, LEAP Apprenticeships & Early Careers
  • Dale Willis, My First Great Job
  • Derek Williams, Achieve and Partners
  • Hannah Hockley, The Apprenticeship Partner
  • Luke Wedgbury, KBSA
  • Malcolm Scott, KBSA
  • Natalie Cole, The Furniture Makers’ Company

The ultimate goal for Simon Acres Group is to work towards improving the skills shortage within the KBB and construction industries. The group is utilising InstallerSHOW as a platform to provide information on apprenticeships and training, to ensure companies can grow and future-proof their businesses. Whether it’s funding, how to access a training provider, or what apprenticeship standard is best for individual businesses, there will be a wealth of knowledge available to help companies take the first steps to hiring their own apprentice, effortlessly.

Simon Acres, Managing Director, Simon Acres Group Limited, says: “We are delighted to announce our stellar line up of speakers supporting us at InstallerSHOW. We aim to show businesses that hiring an apprentice is easy, while providing them with the tools and knowledge to do so. Every speech will be recorded and shared online after the exhibition. Case studies and interviews are also going to be filmed, allowing further informative content to be shared.”

Barry Moss, Apprenticeship Manager, LEAP Apprenticeships & Early Careers, adds: “As the leading apprenticeship provider in the construction supply sector, LEAP Apprenticeships & Early Careers is excited to support Simon Acres Group at the InstallerSHOW. This event serves as an excellent platform to interact with sector peers regarding the advantages of apprenticeships.

“We aim to offer guidance on effectively engaging existing staff in understanding the benefits of professional development, and utilising apprenticeships to develop the next-generation workforce in the most cost effective way. Our industry-specific programmes ensure individuals are equipped with the skills, knowledge and behaviours to meet the demands of our current and future customer needs.”
