Panasonic’s new Aquarea K and L Generation air to water heat pumps are the latest innovations reflecting the company’s vision of creating technologies for a low-carbon society and the decarbonisation of heating. The new models are designed to offer improved energy performance, with the L Generation also utilising R290 natural refrigerant.
The Aquarea K Generation uses R32 refrigerant and is ideal for providing energy efficient heating, cooling and domestic hot water to new and well insulated homes, delivering outstanding performance even when outdoor temperatures are extremely low.
The Aquarea L Generation uses the natural refrigerant R290, and has a hydraulic connection between the indoor and outdoor unit, providing water outlet temperatures of up to 75°C down to -10°C. As well as new build, this unit is particularly suitable for retrofit applications when renovating a home with existing radiators.
