NSF explains how its REG4 certification meets UK regulations for plumbing products

Presentation at InstallerSHOW Tuesday 27th June, 3pm.

NSF REG4 certification is a UKAS accredited certification scheme for water fittings, system components and materials and is all that’s needed to meet the requirements of the UK Regulations and Byelaws for plumbing products. In addition, NSF can support you at all stages of your certification journey and help you decide which of our options is best for you.

NSF REG4 certifies water fittings and non-metallic materials that are in contact with drinking water, including:

– Valves, backflow prevention devices, taps, mixers, shower heads, pipes and fittings, tanks, cisterns, water meters, washing machines, dishwashers, steaming ovens and many others

– Plastics, rubbers, coatings, cements, resins, and sealants

NSF’s Simon Warburton says: “The NSF mark is your proof that products have been tested by one of the most respected testing, inspection, and certification organizations in the world. So just look out for the NSF mark.

“NSF’s REG4 certification is more thorough than other schemes. We back up all certification with material formulations and full supply chain traceability. These give you additional guarantees that products and materials are safe for contact with drinking water and all other requirements of the regulations.”

Find a list of all products certified to NSF REG4 in the NSF listings by heading for nsf.org/gb/en/certified-products-systems.

Visit NSF at stand I10 at InstallerSHOW at the NEC from 27th-29th June. NSF knows every business is different, and it would like to tell you more about how NSF REG4, and other certifications that NSF offer, can give you the assurances you’re looking for.

Attend the Regulation 4 Requirements & Compliance presentation being given in the Installer Training Theatre on 27th June – starting at 3:00 pm ending by 3:50 pm.
