Lyrical Communications is thrilled to be working with Mark Allison, electrician and founder of the Apprentice 121 community.
Starting this month, Mark will be writing a monthly column for Installer Online, as part of the site’s growth into the electrical sector. Mark will bring his experience as an electrician, as well as expertise in renewable energy and his campaigning for raising standards in the industry.
Mark said: “ I am really looking forward to working with Lyrical Communications and excited to write articles and produce content that brings value to the readership and wider electrical industry. I will be sharing my experiences gained over 25 years working as an electrician and most recently moving my electrical business into the solar and battery storage space ”
He will also be appearing at InstallerSHOW 2024, as part of the InstallerTRADES tool and workwear demo zone.
InstallerSHOW’s Lucy Dixon said: “We’re big fans of Mark’s work, so this is an exciting collaboration for us as we deliver key content to our electrical audience. He’s a brilliant addition to the Installer Online team and his content promises to be must-read for anyone in this sector.”
InstallerTRADES has been designed to give visitors the chance to see the latest products in action – and, crucially, hear from the tradespeople trying them out live at the show.
Aimed at everyone working in the trades, from heating engineers and renewables installers to electricians and general builders, InstallerTRADES will feature some of social media’s best known tradespeople getting hands-on with new products from top brands. Also confirmed to appear alongside Mark are heating engineer Carl Ladd and electrician Kimmy the Sparks – more names will be revealed soon.
There will also be a runway show, with tradespeople modeling a range of workwear designed to look great while working hard. Ahead of the show, InstallerTRADES will be running a fun social media casting for the stars of the runway, who will appear alongside famous faces from Instagram and TikTok.
We’ll be releasing more information about InstallerTRADES in the weeks to come, which will include the merchants, brands and manufacturers that are on board, as well as more about who you can expect to see on stage.
