LOCTITE to showcase PFAS-free thread sealing solutions at InstallerSHOW 2026
LOCTITE will return to InstallerSHOW from 23rd to 25th June at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC), Birmingham, to showcase its trusted thread sealing solutions for plumbing professionals and offer live demonstrations on Stand 3F4.
Visitors to the exhibition will be able to see LOCTITE 55 and LOCTITE 577 in action, speak to technical specialists and get practical advice on selecting the right sealing solution for different installer applications.
A key focus for 2026 is LOCTITE 55, designed for sealing metal and plastic pipes and fittings. LOCTITE 55 delivers a fast, clean and cost-effective solution for gas, water, LPG and compressed air systems, with no cure time required and an instant seal.
LOCTITE 55 is now formulated without PFAS ingredients. With PFAS gaining greater attention and potential future restrictions on some materials, many projects are starting to favour alternatives that do not rely on these substances. For installers, this means choosing products that not only perform reliably on site, but also help them stay ahead of changing requirements and make more environmentally responsible choices for the future.
Also on display is LOCTITE 577, a liquid thread sealant that is ideal for threads with short engagement lengths and can be used on parallel to parallel as well as taper to parallel metal threads. It locks and seals fittings in any position, can be used on oil line fittings, seals olives and radiator fittings, and can still be removed with standard hand tools when needed.
