InstallerONLINE, at the forefront of the heating industry for twenty years, and elemental, the online community for heat, water, air and energy professionals, recently engaged the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) sector as a whole as they staged a series of successful webinars, reaching over 1,000 UK installers and HVAC professionals.
Wolseley Live – powered by Installer
The second Wolseley LIVE – a virtual gathering powered by Installer – took place on 19th – 22nd October and featured 11 sessions, 18 speakers and over 600 installers, all taking advantage of the no-cost discussions, technical sessions, competitions and giveaways.
The line-up featured some of the industry’s leading manufacturers including: ADEY, Altecnic, Grundfos, Ideal Heating, Resideo, Mitsubishi, Geberit and Sunamp, and provided installers with timely discussions including how modern controls can help deliver best practice for comfort and energy efficiency and an overview of key services such as the full lifecycle cost of heat pumps.
BEAMA Zero Carbon Homes – powered by elemental
Meanwhile, elemental talks in partnership with BEAMA, powered the ‘Zero Carbon Homes’ webinar series which featured 7 digital events, with 27 expert speakers and hosting over 450 attendees.
The series, attended by professionals in heat, water, air and energy, covered the UK’s requirement to retrofit millions of homes by 2050 as a result of the catastrophic impact of climate change. The talks addressed the widespread delivery challenge facing the industry while discussing positive approaches to harness the opportunities for widespread emission reduction in the UK and the improved health and wellbeing of UK householders.
Charlie May, of BEAMA said ‘Coinciding with the publication of the UK Heat and Buildings Strategy and Net Zero Strategy it is essential we collaborate as an industry to ensure delivery of the UK Net Zero target. Time in not on our side. These talks represent an important part of delivering this and addressing some of the critical issues facing the market today including skills, training and regulatory enforcement. The talks delivered jointly with Elemental demonstrate the huge potential for market progress in this sector and we are excited to be leading this work with our community of members and working closely with UK Government’
