The UK has seen a massive uptake in solar installations and the Solar Innovations feature at InstallerSHOW 2024 will reflect the incredible surge in interest in this area.
Recent stats from MCS show a growth of 385% contractors joining MCS to deliver solar PV compared the same period in 2022. While a survey carried out on behalf of City Plumbing reported that almost two thirds of UK homeowners are planning to invest in solar panels.
Some of the biggest names in solar are already confirmed to take part in what will be the largest, most information packed InstallerSHOW yet at NEC Birmingham, 25-27 June 2024.
The Solar Innovations feature is designed to give visitors the information and solutions they need to succeed in the growing solar sector, which is crucial if we are to decarbonise the UK’s homes and businesses.
The area will once again be supported by Solar Energy UK and MCS and is backed by leading industry names including City Plumbing, CEF and NAPIT. The feature will include interactive demo sessions to boost attendees’ knowledge in the solar space, alongside some of the latest solar products.
Visitors to the show will be able to see industry titans such as Segen, Longi, SolarEdge, SAJ, SKE Engineering/ Huawei, UK Greentech, Aiko, Myenergi, Solfinity, Efficienzy, Midsummer Energy, Wagner Renewables, Instagroup, Genius Roof Solutions, Solex, Secon Renewables and Easby Electronics.
Sturge Mazzocchi, Head of Partnerships & Business Development at Solar Energy UK said: “InstallerSHOW 2023 showed a clear appetite among visitors for greater understanding of clean energy systems, given the record number of smaller-scale rooftop installations expected this year. Building on that success in 2024 is a logical next step.”
Mike Costain, Managing Director at Lyrical Communications, said: “We’re delighted to be able to enhance our solar offering as we continue to drive the Net Zero agenda in conjunction with key stakeholders. We can’t wait to bring the area to life for our 2024 visitors and we’re thrilled that the feature will be bigger and better than ever.”
