Fujitsu General Air Conditioning UK will be showcasing a new range of monobloc air-to-water heat pumps at InstallerSHOW 2023, as well as exhibiting its renowned split and multi-split air conditioning products.
Building on the manufacturer’s extensive experience with air-to-water heat pumps for both commercial and domestic applications, Fujitsu’s new monobloc line-up will be available in heating capacities of 5kW, 8kW and 10kW and operates on low GWP R32 refrigerant. For every 1.0kW of electricity consumed, it can produce up to 5.19kW of usable heat energy and can produce high leaving water temperatures of 60°C.
Innovative design
The Fujitsu monobloc is an efficient all-in-one solution, with an expansion vessel, circulation pump, flow sensor, and pressure relief valve all housed in the outdoor unit. It offers straightforward installation with simple wiring to an indoor control interface.
Pressure sensors on the refrigerant circuit allow the system to reach operating temperatures faster than typical systems with pipe temperature sensors only.
Low operating noise levels of 44 dB(A) sound pressure are possible due to an innovative fan blade design combined with the refrigerant compressor being enclosed in a thermally insulated box rather than having a thermal jacket wrapped around it. Additionally, noise levels can be reduced further with a programable low-noise operation mode.
Efficient and effective control
A quick-start menu system on the control box makes set-up and commissioning quick and easy. The system can be seamlessly integrated with hybrid heat options and is compatible with third-party thermostats and control options. In addition, smart grid and solar PV compatibility provide further energy-efficient operation options.
