At InstallerSHOW, Cistermiser will be showcasing its limescale prevention device for the domestic sector. The company will also be demonstrating its water efficient taps, showers and flushing controls, specifically designed for commercial washrooms.
Visitors to Cistermiser’s stand (B128) will be able to learn more about Combimate – a limescale prevention device designed to protect boilers and appliances in hard water areas while also reducing the effects of soft water corrosion.
Limescale prevention lowers the likelihood of boiler failure and subsequent repairs, improves boiler efficiency and potentially decreases homeowners’ energy costs. While a Combimate installation requires a professional plumber or heating installer to fit the device directly onto a property’s cold water supply pipe, the complete process is quick and simple. Combimate can be configured to protect a single appliance such as a domestic boiler or the complete water system to prevent limescale forming in other appliances such as washing machines.
Annual maintenance is simple and low level. A refill of Combiphos, which is a 100 per cent safe food-grade material, is required – but this can be carried out by the homeowner and without the need for specialised tools.
If a boiler being protected by Combimate experiences significant scaling, Cistermiser will contribute up to £500 (incl.VAT) towards the cost of de-scaling, repair or replacement of the heat exchanger, combi boiler or thermal store (terms & conditions apply).
During InstallerSHOW, Cistermiser will also be demonstrating its water, energy and carbon saving solutions for commercial washrooms, including the multi-award-winning EasyflushEVO. This highly innovative sensor-activated dual flush valve has been specifically designed to prevent leaks from toilet cisterns, with each unit saving up to 146,000 litres of water per year. Also on display will be Cistermiser’s urinal flushing solutions, including its mains-flushing sensor-controlled valves and infrared and hydraulic control valves, which can reduce water consumption by around 75-80 per cent.
In addition, Cistermiser will be promoting its sensor-controlled, non-touch Vecta+ taps and showers, which save water, reduce energy and carbon and increase hygiene in commercial washrooms.
Richard Braid, Cistermiser’s managing director, said: “InstallerSHOW is the largest heating and plumbing exhibition in the UK, with thousands of installers, engineers and plumbers expected to visit. We are looking forward to the opportunity to meet visitors to our stand and discuss how our solutions can help them to improve water quality and water efficiency for their domestic and commercial customers.”
