InstallerSHOW is delighted to announce that BEAMA has been confirmed as the headline sponsor for this year’s The Future is Electric attraction.
The UK government has laid out a strategy to end the sale of new petrol and diesel vehicles by 2030, followed by hybrids in 2035. This presents huge challenges for the built environment around charging infrastructure, energy supply, and integration with smart buildings.
The Future is Electric attraction, hosted by automotive journalist, mobility futurist, and content strategist Jess Shanahan, is designed to provide installers with new ideas about product innovation, and to develop their EV knowledge and skills.
For specification professionals working on domestic, commercial and infrastructure products, it will offer in-depth discussion on how to make the most of funding, legislation and new technology.
BEAMA’s Kelly Butler comments: “InstallerSHOW is more than an exhibition; it’s a movement. The Future is Electric exemplifies the vision to arm the industry with the resources it needs, which mirrors BEAMA’s commitment to safe, secure and efficient low carbon energy and environmental services.”
Mike Costain, Managing Director at Lyrical Communications, says: “We’re thrilled to extend our successful relationship with BEAMA to include headline sponsorship of The Future is Electric. We’re witnessing a sea change in the electrification of both transport and buildings, and BEAMA is perfectly placed to help us deliver the key messages to our 15,000 visitors.”
The full timetable of events for The Future is Electric will be available in the coming weeks.
InstallerSHOW will be showcasing some of the biggest names in the electrical and EV sectors, including Rolec, myenergi, Craig & Derricott, Fronius, Evec, Ratio EV, Easby Electronics, EVC, Easee, Verve Connect, EV Tower, Powerhubb, Versinetic, E.ON, Ratio EV, Ford, City Plumbing and CEF.
