The Reversible Floor Heating and Cooling System offers a simple, cost-effective solution for properties using one heat source to provide both heating and cooling. In heating mode, it operates like a standard underfloor heating system, circulating warm water through the floor loops when temperatures fall below the thermostat setting. In cooling mode, the manifold wiring centre switches operation to circulate cool water when room temperatures rise above the set point. A built-in dew point sensor prevents condensation by stopping operation during high humidity. The system is designed for use with basic distribution manifolds and requires supply temperatures of 35–45°C for heating and 15–20°C for cooling, always above dew point. To operate, use the thermostat normally in heating mode. For cooling, switch to cooling mode and reduce the thermostat temperature to activate the system.
