RCD considerations for renewable technology
Installers will learn about the electrical characteristics of heat pump inverters and gain an understanding of how residual current devices (RCDs) operate in the presence of DC components. They will also explore how high frequency can affect the selection of protective devices, as well as the specific switchgear requirements for solar PV systems. In addition, the course covers key protective device considerations for electric vehicle (EV) charging installations.
