World Plumbing Conference
As the plumbing and heating sector responds to rising demands for sustainability, safety, and skilled labour, the role of technical and vocational education and training (TVET) is more critical than ever. This session brings together international voices from the IAPMO–WorldSkills Global Industry Partnership to explore how apprenticeship programmes and qualification frameworks are shaping career pathways across diverse regions. From low- and middle-income countries to high-performance economies, the panel will examine challenges and innovations within TVET systems—and spotlight opportunities for deeper collaboration between industry, educators, and policymakers. Moderated by Seán Kearney, the session is anchored by the renewed WPC–WorldSkills MOU and underscores the importance of shared occupational standards as a foundation for global workforce development. Speakers of this WorldSkills International Plumbing & Heating Expert panel will be announced in the New Year
