Recognising industry experience through the Experienced Worker Assessments (EWA)
In this session, NICEIC will break down how the Experienced Worker Assessment (EWA) can provide formal recognition of your existing skills.
We’ll look at the EWA eligibility criteria, what the assessment involves, and how it unlocks new opportunities (such as access to Electrician Plus-aligned qualifications in EV charging, solar PV and battery storage) and opens up access to the ECS gold card.
We’ll also explore how the EWA compares to other pathways to qualification, and explain what’s required to complete the process and achieve the industry Level 3 benchmark for a qualified electrician.
