Surface Area

The Surface Area attraction (located on stand 4C18) combined expert demonstrations with a showcase of the manufacturing technologies driving product development in the surfaces sector.

Supported by organisations like the TTA and BiKBBI, and leading international brands such as Pamesa, Grespania, Dune, Natucer, Nanda Tiles, Cristacer, and VitrA, the goal is to deliver a comprehensive insight into the cutting-edge techniques that are being employed to produce creative and breathtaking designs.

A hand-picked selection of tile experts – including Diary of a Tile Addict’s Joe Simpson – were on hand throughout the show to talk through the technologies on display, with one-click downloadable information available on demand.

The ultimate ethos behind Surface Area is to allow InstallerSHOW visitors to explore the outer limits of ceramic technology, and to gain a real appreciation of the commercial potential of these exciting and innovative materials.

Kitchens & Bathrooms Exhibitors

Experience the Kitchen of the Future

Featured will be a unique 4Gen kitchen concept, a collaboration between award-winning designer and author Johnny Grey and ageing expert Professor Peter Gore.

Johnny Grey comments: “Creating a kitchen that was welcoming for everyone, not just older people but children, friends and home workers was an exciting challenge. It combines beauty and function, with flexible, responsive furniture, and technology which means it behaves in a way that works for the whole family. It’s more than just a kitchen, it’s a living space, and I’m thrilled that Installer Kitchens & Bathrooms visitors will have the chance to enjoy it.”
