New Sectors, New Solutions: InstallerSHOW Prepares for 2025

Having just completed my first InstallerSHOW, it strikes me that what makes it so special is the high esteem and love felt for it by the loyal visitor base, and the superb, highly engaged exhibitor community. This can only come from a collective process of bringing together all the right exhibitors, listening to our audience, our customers and our partners, and creating fun, engaging and educational content.

This is a winning formula that has allowed InstallerSHOW to create new communities and foster wider collaboration with other sectors, and I’m excited about how we are embracing these for 2025. Flooring and tiling are two great examples of alignment with our existing communities, and we have really enjoyed discussing the development of these two areas of InstallerSHOW for next year. Watch this space, as we’ll be announcing exciting new content in these spaces and welcoming well-known brands in flooring, worktops, tiles, adhesives, tools and equipment.

We have also been working behind the scenes on creating solutions for installers in relation to building safety, which seems to be the number one concern among the main membership groups in the sector right now. Much of this is only being felt for large scale projects since the Building Safety Act came in this spring, but in time it will affect everyone – and there is a huge awareness gap we are aiming to close. The goal here is to provide clear and concise education and advice for the whole supply chain, from specifier to installer, so that we can share and champion best practice with a view to creating both better buildings and safer conditions for those working in them.

To this end, we are staging Building Safety Week at InstallerSHOW in 2025 with a coalition of partners creating seminar theatres, conferences, CPD sessions, live demos, and a full-scale house build. And that’s just for starters.
