At the end of next month we’ll be at the NEC again, so I thought I’d share a small taster of what’s in store for the elemental audience alongside three days of inspiring talks and informative panel discussions.
It’s the biggest InstallerSHOW ever, and our presence there has also grown – with several theatres for debates, an elemental lounge with video booth, plus bespoke visits for those working in healthcare, education and leisure decarbonisation (for more info on these, please email ldixon@lyricalcomms.com).
There is so much going on for the elemental audience, and one of the highlights will definitely be a visit to the Midlands Net Zero Hub – exhibiting for the first time this year and keen to showcase its work to support the Net Zero agenda in the region and beyond.
Head of the hub, Michael Gallagher, told us why he thinks attending is a bright idea:
In our experience, carving out time to meet people from organisations working on the net zero agenda to share best practice and lessons learned is invaluable. Net Zero cannot be achieved in isolation or with siloed working, which is why events like this where we can all come together to identify potential collaborative opportunities are vital.
You’ll also want to find out about the future of heat pumps, with a visit to the Heat Pump Ready team – with the Carbon Trust and DESNZ – and find out how the projects involved will help the UK grow the take-up of heat pumps.
Another highlight will be the chance to make new connections, and catch up with existing ones, in the elemental lounge, sponsored by Triton. It will be a space for our audience to network with other built environment professionals and exchange ideas about decarbonising their buildings. There will be opportunities to speak to others on the journey to net zero, while enjoying some refreshments and discovering more about what elemental can offer in terms of knowledge sharing.
